Jever is NEET Oostfreesland!
Ik kenn das "j" blot as [j] in't oostfreeske Platt, dat ik kennen do
(Rheiderland an anner Delen van d'Landkreis Leer).

Dag almal,
Mark en Ingmar: My aanmerking rondom die gebruik van 'djy' en 'djou' as 'n
'Kaaps
Afrikaanse' verskynsel eerder as 'n 'Kleurling' verskynsel het met
sosio-ekonomiese en
opvoedkundige redes te make. Ek het nog nooit 'n wit Afrikaanssprekende
(selfs met 'n lae
onderwyspeil) of 'n Kleurling Afrikaanssprekende met 'n hor onderwyspeil die
dzj-vorm
gehoor gebruik nie. Vyf van my kollegas word as 'Kleurlinge' beskou en nie
een van hulle
gebruik die vorm nie.
Ek stem met jou saam, Ingmar, dat Afrikaans haar dzj-vorm oorspronklik uit
'n Oos-Indiese
of Indiese taal gekry het (1700?), maar dit is bes moontlik versterk met die
Franse
dzj-verskynsel by woord aanvang (1800?).
