Ons ken "Slaap, kindjie, slaap" baie goed. Ek sal die
presiese Afrikaanse weergawe vir jou stuur, as jy dit
graag wou hê, Ron.

Hier is my weergawe wat ek graag aan my kleinseun
(Rudolf Zinsser) sing.

Slaap kindjie, slaap.
Daar buite loop 'n skaap
'n skaap met witte wolle,
'n skaap met ronde drolle,
'n skaap wat nou melkies drink
en sjokolade in die môre
