Me again

If I was to be referred to as 'sassanach' then I don't
think I would feel very insulted, even if it was meant
to insult to me - probably much the same as if I'm
called a 'rosbif' by someone from France, 'limey' from
an American or even 'Inselaffe' from a German. I tend
to consider them amusing terms -I think here there is
a distinct difference to 'nigger' which is usually
considered insulting also to those referred to.

(Sorry would have quoted the original mails but have
deleted them, and it's too late to go searching for
them through the archives now...)
