Subject: Arabic-Hebrew
Sorry, I realize that this is off-topic, but does anyone out there know of
web sites that address the question of the similarities of specific words in
Hebrew and Arabic?
Note the reference to specific words -- I am not interested in general
essays which explain why Hebrew and Arabic words are similar in many cases.
I know why they are similar, and so do most people.
I am interested in sites -- or listservs, for that matter -- that talk about
specific words.
Thanks.

Hello, Dave!
Welcome to the speakers' corner!
Unfortunately, I haven't come across anything you seem to be looking for.
Hopefully others will be able to help.
I wonder if it's a good idea to ask the Jewish University of Moscow
(http://www.jum.ru/).
Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
