I get Lowlands messages in terrible formats:

Question: is time not come for switsching to html? I guess the time has gone
that subscribers from poor countries cannot afford a html compatible reading
invironment.

I'd love to remedy whatever it is that is going on, but I honestly do not
know what you are talking about.

The quoted bit looks fine at this end.

I don't know what you mean by the last remark.

It is quite possible that the problem lies in me using an online mail
program while I have the use of someone else's computer down here in
California.  (I'll return to Seattle next Monday.)

However, I am sending the mail in text mode, and, as far as I know, the
server processes all messages in text mode.
