Well, maybe the crows were angry at the Hamburg toads not speaking Low
Saxon or even Missingsch anymore? Or - more likely - the crows flew in
from outside the city, thus being LS speakers, and couldn't understand the
German speaking toads anymore? Or the toads were misunderstood by the
crows because of these language differences? Maybe some snobbish toads
said "When I understand them crows' Plat, they can pick my liver out!",
or something that sounded that way to the crows... Maybe someone else knows
We weren't there, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was just one big
misunderstanding...

By the way, yesterday night we watched Magnolia, a great movie where it
was raining frogs... In the commends I read this was not just fantasy but
really happened several times; probably the frogs were sucked up from a
pond by a whirlwind or so and thrown down some place else later on...
Anyway, it looked quite apocalyptic (or was it one of the plagues in
Egypt?)
