If I remember correctly, you can indeed choose more than one languages. But
then again, I may not remember correctly ...

By coincidence, an article in a German language site I subscribe to was
looking at the oft-repeated myth that German missed out on being the
official language of the U.S.A "by one vote". The article points out that
the story is only a myth, mainly because th! e U.S. didn't have an "official
language", and still doesn't!
