Haai almal,

Ag, Theo, nou verstaan ek jou vraag! Dit is 'n tipiese fonologiese 
verandering
in Afrikaans, soos:
hoorn > horing
doorn > doring
asook: toren > toring

Die woord 'toorn' (woede) het net so behoue gebly, waarskynlik omdat dit met
'toring' (höe bouwerk) sou bots.

Dat is vun 'benaugen' un dat heet geelsnackt soveel as "matt, kraftlos
machen".

'Zoppen' orrer 'zuppen'  heet denn soveel as "zupfen". Bi de Peer meent
dat denn "ruckartig ziehen". Mag woll ween, dat dat bi dat trüggoors
gahn so en lütt beten wat ruckelt hett.

To 1. und 2. kann ik nix bi tostüern, de Wöör heff ik nog nie nich hört.
