Ek het nog nie gelyke wenke so uiteengesit gesien nie, maar wat my betref
sal ek al te gewillig die einste lys so aanpas.
1. Begin met veel praat.
2. Toon belangstelling
3. Laat maar vaar vraë oor insfrastructuur. Aanvaar daar sal nie 'n probleem
in Nederland bestaan nie - presies die teenoorgestelde in die Nuwe
Suid-Afrika.
4. Vergeet maar vir smeergeld. 'n Europeër sal nie omgekoop word nie
(sommiges sal reguit praat en sê 'witmens').
5. Vergeet maar vir status. Gehalte en diens tel. Laat hy wat status soek 'n
manelpak gaan huur.
6. 'n Europeër soek nie 'n vennoot (partner) nie, maar 'n produk. Moet ieder
daarop toespits.
7. Laat maar vaar die onderwerp subsudies. 'n Europeër het nie amptelike
aanmoediging nodig om te produseer nie.
8. Jy kan verwag dat jou Nederlandse werkspan en bestuurder nog oor ses
maande, oftewel in die volgende finansieële jaar nog in die werkplek sal
wees. Vergeet maar vir VIGS (AIDS).
9. Vertrou op u mensekennis, maar hou voorste ingedagte diegene is
professionele, verantwoordelike volwassenes uit 'n beskawing wat eerlikheid
hoog op prys stel, en tree as sulks op.
10. Ja, gryp die kans.
