And of course the Dutch are cheap. The land there is, is not much good for
anything but grazing cattle, so you have a lot of cows. They make money from
grass and what do you do with all the extra milk? You certainly are not
going to feed it to the natural recipients, the calves. No, you make
something of it that keeps and gets better with age and that you can sell.
Also cheese goes well with bread, which is your other basic food. Jacqueline
PS cheese is also very good as a little bite with jenever.
