Comments:
*Lommel *is a municipality in the extreme North-West of Belgian Limburg. The
dialect is classified as *Brabantish*, not Limburgish.
Lommel was originally Brabantish territory. In the early 19th century it was
exchanged against the enclave in North-Brabant *Luycksgestel* (formerly
belonging to the principality of Liège, which covered, among other
territories, the major part of the Belgian province of Limburg).
