Veels geluk op u verjaarsdag!

I'm enjoying a day off (though waiting for the bathroom floor guy) before
tonight's "do," am sitting underneath the jacaranda vine next to a brugmansia
tree with its dangling trumpet flowers on the patio here in Santa Cruz.  The
usual Northern California coast's morning mist has finally lifted, sunshine
is rapidly warming the air, and the sea lions can be heard tuning up for
their evening concert at the nearby pier.

I read this bucolic scene out aloud to my wife, & she is now suffering fits
of Californian homesickness.

Ditto to your daughter Gabriele, & thanks for dangling this string, you &
Jonny!
