Dankie, Ron, daut weet ek, ja,nee!
Mark, ja natuurlik hou mense daarvan om grappenderwys van 'hogere Afrikaans'
te praat as hulle:
-iemand graag grondwaarts wil druk OF tot akademiese hoogstes wil stoot;
-erken dat hulle sekere fenomene binne die diskoers nie te lekker begryp het
nie;
-wil te kenne gee dat highfalutin Taal nou nie juis hulle forté is nie.

"Ja, nee" ("Yes, no") is also a common expression in Low Saxon and in
Northern German.

formele* gebruik van die uitdrukking 'Hogere Afrikaans', maaar, onse
fynproewer van die suiderlike streektale, u moes selfs telkens die
uitdrukking in informele verband gehoor het - of hoe?
