Hier, liebe Freunde,

meine Gedanken ...



Windmühlen, nicht nur diese, haben ihre Traditionen.

Heute suchen Romantiker nach einer besseren Welt (Idylle).

Alte Mühlen (einsam in der Landschaft) wurden liebevoll rekonstruiert, und
wie schön ist das Erleben, wenn der Wind ihre Flügel dreht.



Ich machte heute eine kleine Statistik über Windmühlen in
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (A-Z) von Alt-Schwerin - Hinrichswalde. Fortsetzung
bis Z gab ich auf. Mühlen, Mühlen, Mühlen... wahrscheinlich gibt es hier die
meisten Mühlen.



Ergebnis A-H, Anzahl):

Turmholländer: 4 (nur noch Stumpf)

Erdholländer: 7 (begehrter Umbau für ein Wochenendhaus)

Galerieholländer: 10 (begehrt für Umbau in Gaststätte z.B. Banzkow bei
Schwerin

Sockelgeschoßholländer: 18 (davon 3 Umbauten Wochenendhaus).



Da gäbe es doch ein weites Feld über Mühlen (Tradition, Bau, die Mühle in
der Kunst, Folklore, altes und neues Liedgut, Lyrik u.v.m.) Erkenntnisse
auszutauschen.



Mein schönstes Erlebnis nach der Wende im Januar 1991 in der
Galerieholländer Banzkow. Ein von mir gestalteter Abend (Wort, Gesang und
Ziehharmonika-Musik) für eine Freundesgruppe aus USA und Niederlande. Das
war Freundschaft, Freiheit für Gäste und Künstler! Der Gast aus Niederlande
war zugleich Dolmetscher (Plattdeutsch/Englisch) für die Freunde aus den
Staaten.



Ich beginne mit neuem Liedgut.

Der Text stammt von mir.

(Man kann es auch als Gedicht rezitieren)

Jubelleumsleed för de Möllerbuschen ut Dabel



Wi Möller koenen mahlen,

wenn't sin möt ok betahlen!



Wi sünd de Möllerburschen

un singen dörch dat Land.

De Mäkelborger Globus

is uns all lang' bekannt.

In Stralsund Fohrenslüd' uns hürn,

in Crivitz hebben de Dierns uns giern.

Ward jug uns' Singen nich tauväl,

denn is dat Water up uns' Moehl.

Wi holl'n uns mit'n Rupp-di-wupp

ümmer babenup.



Refrain:

Uns' Moehl dreiht hüt up Freud un Lust

hoch up denn' Moehlenbarg.

De Wind weiht stif mit all' sin Pust,

hüt giff't ein gaudet Wark.

Uns' Mahlgang heit "Musik, Musik",

de Löper kümmt in'n Swunk,

woll hunnert Schäpel Leeder hüt

singen wi för Olt un Jung.



Wi sünd noch frisch un beinig,

hebben Hoeg un gauden Maut.

Wi koenen nich ümmer tru sin,

doch Mudding sünd wi gaut.

In Rostock küßte männig Brut

uns' säute mählig Möllersnut.

denn is dat Water up uns' Moehl.

Dank di för dat Leed, Hanning.

Folks, quite a lot of Hanne's songs have been published in books and in
performances. This is one of them, as is the one about Mecklenburg beer soup
she recently shared with us. Both have been performed by a band on CD.
(Hanne still needs to tell me the details.)

When I catch up with all the work I will put some of them into Hanne's
galleries together with sound samples.

Another thing about terminology in Hanne's (German) introduction in which
she mentions types of windmills and renewed interest in them in Northern
Germany.

Many types of windmills were introduced by immigrants from what are now the
Netherlands and Belgium, or they were inspired by those they built.

The most important type is the *Galleriehollanner* (German *Galerieholländer
* "gallery Hollander/Dutch").
