Dear all,



a very avid society in keeping Low German as their heritage is the American
Schleswig-Holstein Heritage Society in Walcott, IA. (ASHHS) with their
ANN/UAL (!!!) meetings once in Schleswig Holstein and once in U.S.A.



Next meeting will take place in Wausau, WI ;  Sept. 9th to Sept. 11th. 2011

There you can find further details. Hope, there are more groups over in the
U.S. who keep their Low German heritage in a way the ASHHS does since many
years, Could be useful, to keep them together under one roof, for the ASHHS

has opened the gates too for people from other Low German regions (like
myself) They have e.g. members who speak a funny old fashioned Pomeranian
Platt in 5th generation.



Just an idea for all our LL-experts for the year coming up. I'll support if
wanted.
