You're pretty right! What a nonsense-word!
But - when I'd talk to any of my older LS-friends in Germany I always should
say "Hollann'sch Platt", without taking care of eytmological or historical
correctness. It *IS* the word in spoken LS!
I'm sure our neighbours in the West will not mind about it ;-)!
