I just joined the Low Saxon focus zine “Eenfach op Platt” on Facebook:

Among other things, I found out there that the old-timer Low Saxon and
Missingsch actress Heidi Kabel, a Hamburg institution, just passed away at
age 95.

Also there I found a video copy of a performance of the North German group
Otto Groote Ensemble performing their (Eastern Friesland) Low Saxon version
of Jacques Brel’s song “Amsterdam”:

Here is the same group performing Otto Groot’s Low Saxon song
“Iesmeerwellen” (“Arctic Ocean Waves”) in Henk Scholte’s Low-Saxon-oriented

I think those are nice examples of Low Saxon collaboration across the
border.
