Beste Leeglanders,

Each year we have this derby...not a sports one, but a dictation contest
between the Northern and Southern Netherlands. Always great fun, not in the
least because it's a mixed crowd, celebrities and lesser gods can both
participate. It's even televised. A report:

So far, Southerners won 12 times out of 22, which is somewhat remarkable as
there are twice as many Northern participants as Southern ones
(proportional to population size).

Does a similar contest exist in Germany or the UK? Are scores also
regionally biased?
