 Tom asked about the surname Kinsella / Kinseller and wondered whether it
could be a Palatine name

 This is the list of surnames given on the Irish Palatine website and as
the famiies were documented as they arrived in London, it is pretty

On an Irish surname website I found this

Kinsella                Ó Cinnsealach
Kirwan          Ó Ciardubháin
       "Dubhain" meand "black" which probably refers to a dark person from
Spain.
The Kinsellas were one of the tribes of Galway.

I haven't checked out the latter but would suggest that perhaps a
Kinsella married a Palatine emigrant and this started the family
history
