I'm confused since Dutch has as well brem as braam

In my Limburgish (Vliermaal) we used:
"broemele" for Dutch "braambessen" (blackberries)
We used "breime" as generic for large picking plants, making passthrough
virtually impossible.

I don't know the dialect word for the Dutch "brem". I think it was growing
in the sandy "Kempen" but not in the clayground of my "Haspengouw"
