Subject: LL-L "Literature" 2013.01.03 (01) [NDS]
Hello all,
All the best for 2013
I found this url by accident:
http://www.dbnl.org/tekst/hoff004hora01_01/
It is not just a page of content: click on a line and you get the full text
of a lot of literature in late medieval Dutch.
Von Fallersleben has spent a lot of time in the Netherlands (including
Belgium and Norther France).
A sample in West-Flemish colored Dutch:
Nr. 183.
Neujahrslied.
1.
Dag vrouw, dag man, dag al te gaêr!
ik kom u wenschen een nieuw jaer.
deur dik, deur din ik kom loopen:
heb ge niet een wafertje of twee?
ik en gaen ze niet verkoopen.
2.
't Is een goed vrouwtje die me dat geeft,
't is te wenschen dat ze nog 't naeste jaer leeft
goed vrouwtje, goed vrouwtje,
heb ge niet een wafertje of twee?
ik steken ze al in mijn mouwtje.
Vlämisch: Chants populaires des Flamands de France, par de Coussemaker Nr.
33. aus Dünkirchen.
¶ 1, 4. wafertje, wafeltje, Waffel -
2, 5. mouwtje, Ermel.
Regards,
Roger
