Chers collègues,
Le Département de linguistique de l'Université de Leuven (Belgique) a
l'honneur d'accueillir cette année l'école d'été `LOT' (LOT Summer
School).
Cette école d'été, qui réunit vingt-quatre linguistes renommés, aura
lieu du 11 au 22 juin 2007.
Vous trouverez certainement dans le programme, qui entend couvrir
l'ensemble des sous-disciplines de la linguistique, des sujets
susceptibles de vous intéresser. Aussi espérons-nous pouvoir vous
accueillir à un ou à plusieurs des cours offerts, qui ne s'adressent
pas uniquement aux doctorants.

2007 LOT Summer School

The annual summer school of the Netherlands Graduate School of
Linguistics is being organized by the Department of Linguistics of
the University of Leuven from 11 June to 22 June 2007.
The school offers introductory and advanced graduate courses, with 24
different subjects spread over two weeks. The courses run for five
days, with daily sessions lasting two and a half hours. Each course
can be taken as a partial credit (without paper) or a full credit
(with submission of a paper after the course). The course

The summer school will also host a poster session where PhD-students
can present their (preliminary) research results.
Registration and tuition fees
The school is in principle open to everyone. For participants who do
not belong to partner institutes of LOT the tuition fees are 150 EUR
for a week and 250 EUR for two weeks. Accommodation (including
breakfast and lunch) is available at the summer school venue at
32.10 EUR per night (for a shared room) or 35.70 EUR (for a single
room).
The deadline for inscription is 15 April 2007. Registration forms and

Transport information
Leuven can easily be reached by train from Brussels airport (in 15
minutes) and from the Brussels train stations (in 30 minutes).
