Tools and Resources for the Analysis of Speech Prosody is an Interspeech
2013 satellite event.

 

TRASP will be the occasion to bring together people involved in developing
tools and resources for the analysis of speech prosody in order to evaluate
the state of the art in this area, summarising what tools and resources are
currently available and what other of tools and resources are in greatest
need of development. It will also be an opportunity to discuss ways in which
work in this area might benefit from harmonisation and collaboration.

 

TRASP is organized by Brigitte Bigi and Daniel Hirst and will take place at
the LPL with the technical support of the CEP.

 

In order to increase comparability for the different tools, contributors
will be asked to apply their tools to a common corpus which, when possible,
will be made available by the organisers. Since it is expected that tools
may concern several different languages, a multi-lingual corpus will be
used. This shared corpus will be hosted by the SLDR forge.

TRASP, acronyme de " Tools and Resources for the Analysis of Speech Prosody
" est un événement satellite de la conférence internationale Interspeech
2013. 

Organisé par Brigitte Bigi et Daniel Hirst du Laboratoire Parole et Langage
à Aix-en-Provence, TRASP se déroulera dans les locaux du LPL, le vendredi 30
août 2013, soit directement après Interspeech, qui a lieu cette année à
Lyon.

Objectifs et thématique du colloque

 

TRASP sera la première occasion de rassembler à la fois des chercheurs
impliqués dans le développement d'outils et ceux impliqués dans le
développement de ressources pour l'analyse de la prosodie. L'objectif est
d'établir un panorama assez large des recherches dans ces domaines, en
particulier d'établir de façon claire quels sont les outils et les
ressources actuellement disponibles et quels sont les besoins pour le
développement d'autres outils et ressources. 

Ce colloque sera aussi une excellente opportunité pour discuter des façons
dont les travaux dans ce domaine pourraient bénéficier d'une harmonisation
des efforts et pour susciter des collaborations.

 

Afin de faciliter les comparaisons entre les outils, un corpus sera
distribué aux différents participants. Dans la mesure où certains outils
peuvent être spécifiques à une langue, le corpus sera proposé en différentes
langues.
