Subject: [RNLD] Lou language, Manus Province, PNG
Hi folks,
Just sharing a message from Kereni Sparks Ngenge from Vanuatu/PNG about the endangered language of Lou Island in PNG. If anyone has worked on the Lou language of the Manus Province or knows someone who has, can you please get in contact with Kireni who is very keen to collaborate with linguists on her language [email: kirxsn at gmail.com<mailto:kirxsn at gmail.com>]. Please follow the links below to videos created by Kireni to learn more:

Hello, my name is Kireni Sparks-Ngenge.
My father is from Lou Island in Manus Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG). I was born in PNG and grew up living between Madang, PNG, and Vanuatu.
I also always visited Lou Island and I have made this video because I am concerned that my island’s indigenous language is on the dangerous path towards becoming endangered – many parents are no longer speaking the language to their child
