RST and facial expression

Dear Nadja:

I'm sorry, but I know of nothing of this sort. Even without multiple media, RST
needs to face the problem of non-linearity in text, and to my knowledge no one
has not done that. The problem is visible in a single medium on the RST web
site especially on the text labeled Devotional Reading (the Let Go! text).

So your publication reporting success on this may be the first.

Hi, I'm Berardina Nadja De Carolis
I'm working on the generation of believable behaviors in animated
believable agents. We use a three-layer approach: discourse plan
generation, meta-synchronization level and surface generation.
Since our discourse planner uses RST I was wondering if there is any
paper/pointer about a possible relation between RR and facial
expressions, gestures and so on.

thank you in advance for your kind cooperation,
nadja
