Fwd: Seeking Lao Linguist

Appen Butler Hill Pty Ltd, a speech technology company 
(http://www.appenbutlerhill.com/), is looking for a linguist, who speaks
Lao as a first language and ideally has a strong background in 
phonetics/phonology to help with a large phonemic transcription project.

The bulk of the work is due to start later this year but in the preparation
we are immediately looking for a linguist who could assist in developing a
Lao language specification guideline which needs to outline various aspects
of Lao language including dialects, orthography, Romanization and phonology.

Although our company is based in Australia, the work can be done online from
anywhere in the world.  Work is flexible (as the flow of data can be
unpredictable), but availability to work between 10-15 hours per week would
be best.
