Kundera quote-help!

Dear John,
Yes, this is a quote from Kundera, although not exact.  It appears in his
novel "The Book of Laughter and Forgetting" (Penguin Books, 1981) at page
3, where one of the main characters, Mirek, says that"the struggle of man
against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting."
