George Orwell "Animal Farm"

I recall once hearing that an edition of Orwell's "Animal Farm" included an
introduction by the author that made specific reference to the tragedies of
the Soviet Union and the West's preference to believe the Potemkin villages.

Can anyone help in tracking down further info?
