The Russian doublet phrases that Curt (best regards, dear Curt)  posted
puzzled me.
Having been born into the ethnic Russian family and having travelled
extensively
thoughout Russia from Arkhangelsk all the way down to Sochi - I must
confess: I surrender. Sorry.

To my limited knowledge of Russian these are either very local expressions
or expressions that have gone out of use.
