Hello!
I am an editor for Capstone Press in Mankato, Minnesota. We publish
non-fiction children's books. I contacted you recently via letter regarding
our upcoming book project. I just wanted to make certain you had received
this letter.
I am currently working on a book in our Coming to America series about
Russian Immigrants, 1860-1915. Books in this series are written at a
fourth-grade level and are intended for children up to and including seventh
grade. Each book is 32 pages with approximately 5,000 words of text.
Currently I am looking for someone knowledgeable in Russian American studies
to serve as a consultant on the Russian Immigrants book. A consultant is
asked to verify the historical and factual accuracy of the book, including
the book cover, the manuscript, and the completed layout including
photographs and maps. We offer consultants a $50 honorarium, credits on the
book's title page, and a complimentary copy of the finished book.
Can you recommend a qualified individual who might be willing to serve as a
consultant for this book? I would appreciate any recommendations you could
provide. I can be reached in one of several ways:
1) e-mail: k.kudela at capstone-press.com
2) phone: 507-385-8476
3) toll-free: 888-293-2609 ext. 476
4) fax: 507-388-1227
Thank you so very much for your time and consideration! I look forward to
hearing from you soon.
