PC specialist's help is needed

Dear all,
would it  be possible (difficult, BUT possible I mean) to safe a document
that  has been deleted by mistake?
I have a program LEXICON, and the program was deleted along with all
documents nnn.lx about a week ago, and new Lexicon was installed.
Is there anything to help it?
