You might have overwritten your files with your new program installed or
some other files saved but there is always a good chance that you are
okay. Just try to use UnErase (Undelete) function with of the utility
packages (e.g., Norton Utilities / System Works).
But avoid saving any files or installing anything before you attempt to
recover lost files.
