possible position in Russian history

Dear friends,

I want to thank those who responded to my earlier query. It now seems like
we are likely to have a 1/2 time, guest position offered next year in
Russian/Byzantian history (this is a slightly different focus than my
earlier e-mail suggested -- things are fluid around here).  Again, if
anyone knows an advanced graduate student in the NY area who might be
interested in such a position, please encourage them to write me at
