family name Liskovskii

[Laura Goering]

A friend asked me the origins of the family name "Liskovsky".  I quick 
Google shows it to be rather uncommon as a Russian surname.  Can anyone 
enlighten me on its origins, either in Russian or some other Slavic 
language?
