sub-titles

[Emily Saunders]

A good film to check with would be Kukushka/The Cuckoo, since the film  
has three different languages (Russian, Finnish, and Lapp) and the  
main point of the movie is that the actors don't understand each  
other.  How that movie handles subtitles could be quite illustrative.   
I don't have a copy about me or I'd put it on and see (I saw it on  
Russian television with subtitles for only two of the languages and I  
don't remember how they handled them).
