the most widely quoted piece of it is about the ethereal music. in Russian it is "нечеловеческая музыка". it may be used both ironically (even sarcastically) and as a praise.    
another one that is often used in the same context is a quote  from Stalin who said about Gorky's epic "The Girl and the Death" -- 'this piece is stronger than Goethe's Faust' (эта вещь посильней, чем "Фауст" Гёте).
