A cuckoo's set ...

Hello all,

I'm not sure about my understanding the following spots out of  "...the  cuckoo's nest" - so some help needed.

1.Probably that chain didn't help it any, either  =  That chain didn't make any weight contributon to that of the fish?

2. It ain't up to me, you know =  Those are not issues of my level   OR  All of this is not about me?

3. I'll  be  just  right down the line with you =   At any time you can count on me?
