Wow!  That is a bit different from the forms in the Osage
Dictionary!

Come to think of it, the whole thing does look suspiciously
like an eclectic mixture of Osage and OP, with perhaps
something else thrown in as well.  Also, the time the chair
was given to Curtis coincides very closely with the time the
dictionary was published.  I wonder if Francis La Flesche
was not involved in redacting that inscription?
