Quoppaumokee

Benjamin Hawkins, U.S. supt. of Indian agents south of the Ohio River
ca. 1800, says (Letters, 1916, 434) "They [the Creeks] went to war with
the Quoppaumookee (Delaware) against the Ozauzee.." Is anyone familiar
with the name Quoppaumookee? It looks like it includes "Quapaw". Martin
and Mauldin (Dict. of Creek) give only wa:panáhki for 'Delaware'. (I
assume Ozauzee is Osage.)
