Lakota term: woslata?

608a.  Of course, I have no idea how to predict occurrence of this word
vs. naz^iN.

Is "Standing Rock" being translated into Lakota, or is there a Lakota
source for the name?  Of course, it could be a case of both, separated in
time or place.  I think the quotation from Black Elk at the Little Big
Horn Monument might have been back-translated from the English text.  I
wasn't sure it made syntactic sense.
