Jimm, Rory, Bryan --
 	My apologies for reading Jimm's comments too quickly and 
carelessly -- and thanks to Rory and Bryan for stepping in to correct 
that.  I have a very quick knee-jerk reaction to people who try to equate 
the wrong things in linguistics, based on many years of experience.  That 
was clearly not the appropriate reaction this time.
