Query re L2 learning by adults

Dear Colleagues,
I'm in a research group that is investigating factors leading to
successful learning of ASL by adults.  We are looking for published
literature related specifically to differences in L2 learning  (signed
or spoken) by younger vs. older adults.  If you know of such literature,
please let me know. I will be happy to summarize for the list.
