Have and BE verbs

Dear All, 

I have spotted some uses of  THERE-IS in Sign Language of Turkey (SLT). The hand shape is a 5,  the thumb touching the chest a couple of times. Below are some spontaneous examples from my corpus. 


BEN KALP HASTALIGI              VAR  
I  heart-disease       there-is
 "There is heart disease in me"  

                                   ATES   VAR  
(pointing to the heater ) Flame there-is 
                         There is flame at the heater
