Suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions for an article/chapter that can
provide an nice overview of the contrasts between
formalist/generative and functional and/or cognitive approaches to
the study of language (for undergraduates)?

Very few introductory linguistics textbooks currently available do
this, it seems.
