Description:

 

The 16th China International Conference on Contemporary Linguistics will be
held at Tongji University, Shanghai, on 28-30 October, 2016. Given the
recognition of the importance of Sign Linguistics and the burgeoning
interest in sign language research in China, the 16th China International
Conference on Contemporary Linguistics is pleased to announce a thematic
session on Sign Linguistics on this occasion. Papers addressing issues in
the following areas from any theoretical perspectives are welcome. 

 

.         Phonetics and phonology 

.         Morphology 

.         Syntax 

.         Semantics and pragmatics 

.         Acquisition of sign language as a first or second language,
including bimodal bilingual acquisition 

.         Psycholinguistics processing 

.         Neuroscience and sign languages 

.         Sign Language Documentation & Corpus linguistics 

.         Sociolinguistics 

 

Abstract format:

 

1. Abstracts should be written in English or in Chinese. 

2. Abstracts written in English should not exceed 500 words. Abstracts
written in Chinese should not exceed 600 characters.

3. Two copies of abstract should be prepared:

a. one copy with abstract title, key words, and information of the author
(name, postal address, email address, and contact phone   

 number(required)).

b. one anonymous copy with abstract title and content only.

c. the subject category (i.e. field of research, such as syntax, semantics,
acquisition .) should be added on the left side of the header in 

both copies.
