Dear colleagues,
Since 2017, the University of Amsterdam is offering a BA program in Sign Language Linguistics (http://www.uva.nl/en/programmes/bachelors/sign-language-linguistics-linguistics/sign-language-linguistics.html). This is a three-year program taught in English which includes courses on general linguistics, sign language linguistics, and Sign Language of the Netherlands. After finishing the BA, the students can also do a one-year MA program in General Linguistics with specialization in Sign Linguistics. The deadline for international students to apply is April 1st.
We would be grateful if you could help us distribute this information. Do you know any prospective students who would like to study sign linguistics? If so, please let them know about this opportunity. For further information, they can contact Roland Pfau at r.pfau at uva.nl<mailto:r.pfau at uva.nl>.
Thanks a lot & Best regards,
Roland Pfau
