Hooked "L" and thumb position

SW List Members, Ingvild, Stuart...
There are actually some true meaningful differences between these
handshapes...I started to realize that after I posted my last message
about it...they are important differences too.

In Ingvild's diagram, which I have attached again...the handshape to
the left in the diagram...that one has the fingers and thumb truly
erect...the fingers only bend at the middle joint...not the knuckle
joint. But the handshape on the right has the fingers starting to bend
forward a little...That is the difference...the one on the right is
bending from the knuckle joint and the middle joint...
