Dear Stuart,
What's that again? Did you say that "Goldilocks" is in Sign Writing?
I was planning to do that sometime when I have a few spare hours, but have
not been able to get hold of the video yet. I had a class of kindergarten
children soon after our UND-SIL courses and was teaching them SignWriting,
but suddenly year-end holidays were upon us and I got involved in SL survey
last year, so have not gone back to the kindergarten again. They would like
me to make a commitment for a school year, but it is not possible at this
stage. The kids loved it of course and most were making great progress, but
how much can you teach in one month to 5-6 year olds?
I was a bit disappointed actually at not being able to continue.
Next month I am off to the Philippines (but I have not finished with
Indonesia yet!)
I got off the SW list a couple of years ago, but with the changeover I found
myself back on!
Sincerely,
Hope
