Dear SW List, and Ron -
What a lovely message, Ron. I think your story is soo important...a 
Church where SignWriting is an active part of learning the Bible for 
some of the Deaf congregation....that is profound and your translations 
of Bible passages are not just sitting on a library shelf...they are 
really being used during Bible studies...I know there must be times 
where it gets discouraging for you, but please know that I am aware how 
important your work is...I have been wondering if we couldn't have your 
story documented for history's sake...and I hope to call you one of 
these days to discuss how we could do that...

I am so glad that you find the PUDL site useful...I do too!!

There is a group of Deaf programmers in Switzerland who are working on 
a new Windows and Macintosh version of SignWriter Java, that will be 
called SignWriter Tiger. Daniel Noelpp is the lead programmer and 
designer of SignWriter Tiger. So we hope that we can test the first 
version of Tiger sometime in the next year...

Since the 1990's I have not chosen to travel because of health issues, 
but I am getting better, and you never, know, someday maybe I can come 
to visit you in Michigan...However...until that day, I have a 
suggestion....Why not have a video conference on video phones? Your 
Deaf congregation could sign with me over the phone...I still haven't 
purchased my equipment yet, but I hope to buy D-Link...
