Dear SignWriting List!
WELCOME to our new Editors of the American Sign Language dictionary
online:
Pastor Ron Dettloff
Adam Frost
Philippe Gallant
Dan Parvaz
Stuart Thiessen
I have also invited another Deaf person, but I do not know if they want
to be an Editor or not...If any of the Editors know of others, whom you
feel should be invited, please write to me...
I am also an Editor of the ASL dictionary...not because I will be
writing any new signs myself...but because I need to re-enter around
3000 signs in the ASL dictionary. I have done a handful of them, but
there are still thousands of signs to go...so if any of the other
editors have the time, we need to take existing signs, and re-do them
with the new SignMaker, so every entry will have the .bld information
needed to sort by SSS later...Most of the entries at the moment are
only graphics...so they are there to be used by the general public, but
they need to be replaced with the new SignMaker versions...that will
hold this special information...
If there is an Editor who can help with this effort, please tell me -
Meanwhile, welcome once again!!
All tech support questions should be posted to the SignWriting List...
Val ;-)
